Admission Procedure
- Nalanda College of Education has a transparent admission process and ensures that the defined admission criteria is equitably applied to all applicants.
- The entire admission process is controlled by the H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Srinagar,an affiliating body. The candidates are selected through a University Entrance Test (UET) conducted by the University and NCE is under the mandatory obligation to admit the candidates selected on the basis of merit declared by the University. The University declares the cut off merit for admission for all categories and approves the list of admitted students.
- Admission committee follows university guidelines in admission procedure. Admissions are made on the basis of merit only. Every person who fulfils the mandatory criteria can seek and is granted admission in the college.
Eligibility : As per the rules and regulations of NCTE
The eligibility to appear in Entrance test for admission in the B.Ed. (Two year regular programme with semester system) is at least 50% marks in aggregate for general candidates in their graduation/post graduation examination whereas it is 45 % aggregate marks for OBC , SC and ST candidates. Successful clearance of the Entrance test taken by the University is mandatory.
